July-2002: Unexplored Kea (Greek island).
We are in Kea island July-2002 and the greek album of Nikos Papazogloy "Haratsi" is playing from the CD-player of the car when I shot that photo.
Kea is an island which is located very close to Athens but it doesn't has mass tourism. A very interesting part of the island is the southeast which is completely unexplored (look the map).
I will not present an touristic article about Kea but I will present you some photos of the area around (where the original black & white photo was shoot).
This lighhouse is in the most south part of the island.I will not present an touristic article about Kea but I will present you some photos of the area around (where the original black & white photo was shoot).
The road on the way to the light house.
The beach of "Kaliskia" (Καλησκιά), is an ideal place for free camping.

October-1994: A man selling shoes in Piata Unirii, Bucharest.
Piata Unirii in one of the central squares of Bucharest where this photo
has been shot.
Even though many years passed since 1994, I still remember that figure
of that man trying to sell shoes in the cold. Under the bridge that we
see the river Dâmboviţa flows.
The negative of that photo was in horrible situation (under-exposed) and
this is the reason that this photo doesn't have good tones.

Jan-1995: Portrait of an old man in the train from Predeal to Bucharest.
January 1995: This photo was taken when I was traveling from Predeal
(Carpathian mountains) to Bucharest by train. I have faced several
difficulties in order to make this photo. Some of them were: the moving
train, the low light conditions (noon), the black & white film
Azomures at 100ASA and my old camera (Russian Zenit) without light
meter.
I started taking pictures in June 1994 and in my
house in Bucharest I had a small dark room for developing films/photos.
I remember that for that photo I over-developed the film and this is
one of the reasons that the photo has big grain.
