From the "De Pier" in Scheveningen beach of Den Haag are the following photographs (link: De Pier: google maps).
The beach looks beautiful.. But if we see the beach together with the building we change our opinion. The Netherlands has interesting modern architecture (ie. architecture in Rotterdam), but here the building do not fit with the landscape of the beach/sea.
The next photograph is the building that we also see in the above photo (but from a different point of view).
The interesting thing is that in this beach there are many hotels (expensive) and during the summer some German tourists are coming for vacations here ;-).
